How are Parkinson’s services in your area?

Are you on a waiting list for services?

Have you been affected by cuts in services?

What improvements in services would make life better for you?

Parkinson’s UK are hosting six local priority events across NI at the end of October and into November.

When and where:

Wednesday 25 October from 10.30am to 12 pm Lisburn Enterprise centre

Wednesday 25 October from 2pm -3.30pm St Brides Hall Belfast

Thursday 26 October from 11.30 am to 1pm Ballymena North Business Park

Thursday 26 October from 3pm to 4.30pm St Columbs Park House, Foyle

Thursday 2 November from 10.30am to 12 noon Seagoe Parish centre Portadown

Thursday 2 November from 2.30pm to 4pm Omagh Library

The format of each meeting is the same, so you only have to come to one. Please choose the meeting time and venue that suits you best.

Parkinson’s UK want to hear from you about the NHS support that you receive, so that they can understand the issues that people with Parkinson’s, their families and unpaid carers are currently facing. This will help to make the strongest possible case for improvements to the service.

If you want to attend and are interested in having your voice heard and want to help make a difference to services in your area, contact Caroline McEvoy, Campaign, Policy and Communications Officer with Parkinson’s UK in Northern Ireland at cmcevoy@parkinsons.org.uk or call 0344 2259868.
