Making older people's voices heard
As an independent champion for older people, a key part of the Commissioner’s role is to make sure that older people’s voices are heard across government and that policymakers consider the needs of our ageing population.
Our policy and research team produce a wide range of reports, research and consultation responses on a variety of issues affecting older people. These are used to ensure that the interests of older people are being heard and protected when policy or legislative changes are being considered.
